Good Morning…erm Afternoon!

I’ve been getting better and better at waking up relatively early, for summer at least, and rolled out of bed around 8:30 this morning, which is still a far cry from the 5-6 am wake up I’ll be subject to in T-minus…14 days! I read some blogs and more of my Jillian Michaels’ book : “Master Your Metabolism”, (which I plan to review once I finish it), drank the standard cup o’ coffee and enjoyed the last bits of summer before I embark on my teaching career via this final internship (yipes!)

After some Jillian time, and reading all about FOOOOOOD, I decided to whip up a yummy breakfast to last through the gym sesh I have planned for early afternoon.

Open faced english muffin with some freshly ground peanut butter on one half and an egg white cooked with s&p (salt & pepper) & rosemary. I would have topped the egg with some HOT salsa (new favorite topping for eggs), but sadly I polished off the last of it last night 😦

I also added some blueberries I had leftover from my snack at work yesterday, and a small cup of Organic 1% milk to wash down the pb stickiness!

Alright, Ryan came in ready to head to the gym. We’re planning on walking the 16 blocks or so, to get in some extra exercise/be more environmentally friendly, but that’s quite a hike for the  suburbanite lifestyle, particularly in the middle of summer in Florida…wish me luck!
